Dr Alexander Maine is a Lecturer at the University of Leicester Law School. He holds an LLB (Hons) from Newcastle University and a PhD from Northumbria University School of Law. He is co-editor of the Edward Elgar Research Handbook on Gender Sexuality and the Law, Chair of the University of Leicester LGBTQ Equality Action Group, Reviews Editor of the International Journal of Gender Sexuality and Law, Co-Editor of the Edward Elgar Research Handbooks in Gender and the Law Series, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
